Thank you for your continued support of the Waukegan Lady Dawgs Girls Travel Softball Program. Your involvement has provided our girls with the instruction of how to play the game of softball as well as helping to mold our girls into premier athletes and outstanding members of our community.
The 2008-2009 season is underway. We ended the 2007-2008 season with a trip to the World Series in Kansas City, Missouri and we have another exciting season to look forward to. Just as the game of softball is a team sport; so is sponsorship in regards to the organization. Team sponsors help cover the costs of tournament fees and travel expenses.
Along with supporting the basic team needs of the Waukegan Lady Dawgs, your support will assist the Shriner’s Hospital in Chicago. Last year our girls raised over $300 during the season for the hospital, this year we anticipate doubling that contribution. Your help will allow our girls to play the game to the best of their abilities, keep them safe, their team successful, provide opportunities for girls who play softball in Waukegan in the future all while helping the children at the Shriner’s Hospital.
