Travel softball is young in Waukegan and is continuing to grow and improve as well as get the name of Waukegan Softball BACK at the top of the North Shore athletics scene. This year we are pleased that there will be two Waukegan Lady Dawg teams.
The girls have been working hard to make this season like no other. Some girls started playing at the age of 6 and a few are just getting their first shot. From the pictures on the Meet the Dawgs page, you can see how our girls have grown up on the diamond.
The 2008-2009 season is underway. We ended the 2007-2008 season with a trip to the USSSA World Series in Kansas City, Missouri and we have another exciting season to look forward to.
We can't say thank you enough to the people who have encouraged and guided us to where we are today.
